Sail Smoothly Through the Choppy Seas

“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship.” – Louisa May Alcot

Have you ever felt scared of what lies ahead or feeling defeated along with a feeling of helplessness?

Louisa May Alcott reminds us to focus on growth during moments of adversity. When we experience difficulties / storms of life we need to navigate these tough times.

Our minds have the ability to heal and to adapt. No one is born knowing how to battle these psychological storms or physical encounters. It takes time to build these tools / coping mechanisms whether it’s through therapy, speaking to friends and family, and journaling etc.

No matter what, remember that we learn through trial and error, and give ourselves grace whenever we feel overwhelmed. Every storm we surpass means a stronger sailor within us.
