Know More About the Peppy Divya
Divya Bihani, the Founder of Shaadipitaara, embodies creativity, intention, and a deep appreciation for celebration. Born in Rajasthan, she is a Mass Media graduate with a specialisation in Advertising. With over three years of experience in PR and marketing, she has built a strong foundation in brand storytelling and consumer engagement skills that naturally shaped her entrepreneurial path.
Shaadipitaara
In April 2025, Divya founded Shaadipitaara, a platform dedicated to curating thoughtful and budget-friendly wedding and festive gifting ideas. Her inspiration for starting the brand stemmed from her deep connection with celebrations and the desire to create something she could truly call her own. With an innate sense of aesthetics and a hands-on approach, she oversees every aspect of the business from product design, inventory, and logistics to marketing and social media strategy.
Born Out of Passion
Divya’s creative strength lies in her ability to experiment with elements and craft unexpected yet beautiful outcomes. Her father remains her greatest inspiration, shaping her values of hard work, passion, and integrity.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, discovering new brands online, and documenting her thoughts as a diarist. She believes in structured planning to maintain a healthy work-life balance, ensuring her professional commitments never overshadow family time.
Through Shaadipitaara, Divya continues to channel her love for weddings, culture, and creativity into a brand that celebrates joy, tradition, and the art of thoughtful gifting carving a journey that reflects both her vision and her heart.
In Conversation with Divya
We at WWeaV, caught up with the busy Divya for a quick chat on Shaadipitaara.
Tell us about the idea of Shaadipitaara. Why did you decide to embark on this journey?
Something has always been on the back of my mind is ‘to have something of my own’ no matter how big or small. Coming from a Marwari family has always fuelled this thought with innumerable experiences. However the clear idea of starting with Shaadipitaara hit me early in 2024 as I saw the rise in the culture of wedding gifting and hampers. Beside this, I witnessed the new wave of customisation along with budgeted gifting options. Commencing on this journey has been challenging as I was in a full-time job for the last 3 years. The thought of breaking the safety-net was scary, however I gave some time for that thought to settle in, chalked out a plan and gradually started approaching the idea, and finally took the leap of faith.
How do you manage, or rather multi-task; your masters degree, Shaadipitaara, and how does your family support you in this venture?
It was yet another ‘self-talk’ session when I decided to sign up for my long desired master’s degree. I anticipated the hustle and chaos, that would go into playing the roles of entrepreneur and a student, but safe to say, I have managed to sail through that and now have created a manual to keep sailing through as I continue the journey. I’m grateful to my family for being my rock and for always supporting me in my journey of entrepreneurship, and being a student, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for my family.
What kind of customers does Shaadipitaara cater to? And where do you see it going?
Shaadipitaara caters to the audience that’s looking for pre-made aesthetic budgeted gifting options for wedding and festivities. As per request we also customise the offerings from design to budgets. Shaadipitaara is a blend of tradition and modernity. For its future trajectory I see Shaadipitaara being the gifting partner for numerous luxurious weddings across the globe. And I would want it grow immensely and cater to all and elevate their celebrations.
We, at WWeaV, wish Divya a bright future at Shaadipitaara.
